Privacy Policy

1. The short version

Your wallet address is your account: there is no name or password to give us. You can add an email address if you want notifications. Campaign images, bids and reviews are public by design, and every payment is recorded permanently on the Solana blockchain, which nobody can edit or delete.

2. What we collect

  • Wallet address. Your Solana public address, which identifies your account.
  • Profile details you choose to add: display name, bio and avatar image.
  • Email address (optional). Used only for notifications, and confirmed with a code sent to it. You can remove it at any time.
  • Images you upload for campaigns and bids.
  • Activity records: campaigns, bids, payment signatures, refunds, payouts, delivery links, discussion messages and reviews.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser user agent, used for rate limiting and to detect abuse, plus server logs.
  • Support messages you send us, including anything you put in them.

We do not collect identity documents, and we never see card or bank details: Gigowi does not handle traditional currency.

3. What is public

Some information is published as part of how the marketplace works, and is visible to anyone, signed in or not:

  • your wallet address, display name and avatar;
  • campaigns you create, and images uploaded into cells you win;
  • bid amounts, who currently holds each cell, and the delivery link a creator posts;
  • reviews and discussion messages you write.

Separately, every payment is public and permanent on Solana: bids, refunds, fees and payouts, with the wallet addresses involved. That record is outside our control and cannot be changed or removed by us or by you.

Uploaded images are stored in cloud storage and can be opened by anyone who has the link, even if the campaign is later removed from the site. Do not upload anything you would not want seen publicly.

4. How we use it

  • To run campaigns, bidding, escrow, refunds and payouts.
  • To show public profiles, campaign pages and reviews.
  • To send notifications you have asked for, in the app and by email.
  • To answer support requests.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to enforce our terms and content rules.
  • To keep records of transactions for accounting and disputes.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

5. Who we share it with

  • Hosting and database: Google Cloud (servers and image storage) and Supabase (database).
  • Email delivery: SendByte, which receives your email address and the message.
  • Solana network access: an RPC provider, which sees the transactions we submit and read.
  • AI image analysis: when a creator asks for an AI-generated grid, that campaign image is sent to Google's Gemini API to suggest cell placement.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

6. Keeping it and deleting it

We keep account and campaign records while your account exists, and keep transaction records afterwards for accounting and dispute purposes. You can remove your email address, display name, bio and avatar from your profile at any time.

To close an account, contact us. Some things cannot be deleted: on-chain payments are permanent, and we keep the campaign and bid history needed to settle disputes and account for funds. Where we keep such records, we keep no more than we need.

7. Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in (session and refresh tokens), plus browser storage for small conveniences such as remembering a bid you were in the middle of placing. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Security

Connections use HTTPS, the database connection is encrypted, and sessions use signed tokens. Campaign escrow keys are held by the platform and are never stored in the database. No system is perfectly secure, and your wallet's safety is in your hands: anyone with your recovery phrase controls your funds, and we can never recover them for you.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will respond within a reasonable time. Note the limits above: public blockchain records cannot be altered or removed.

10. Children

Gigowi is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
